Visit Pondoland

As our previous two posts cover outings we made to the northern part of Pondoland it is perhaps worth mentioning that this area is accessible to visitors.

The wonderful part of the Wild Coast between the Umtamvuna River and Port St Johns can be explored on foot. A hiking trails wanders along the coastline, taking in amazing views and you can learn about the environment and local culture from experienced guides.

Trails of varying lengths, including overnight stops in local villages, can be arranged through a local enterprise, Amadiba Adventures. Contact Mzamo Dlamini 072 1940949 or by email at mzamord@gmail.com.
